Hello and welcome to a cultaholic classic raw review special.

Myself and Jackie Orlando are going to take a look at the biography,

WWE Legends episode on the British Bulldog Davy Boy Smith.

Before we start, an apology from me.

So we didn't record this episode in either of the normal places that we record in due to

mitigating circumstances. Consequently, I recorded in a setup which I wasn't familiar with,

and as a result, my microphone isn't the best. Jackie sounds perfect, silky smooth as always. I'm quite piquy and also the backup version

that I recorded to avoid issues with the primary recording. That didn't work either. Great.

So I hummed and hard about whether or not to even put this out, but we spent so much time on it. And it's,

it's a character from the classic raw universe that we love so much. So I am presenting it in the

the best form I possibly can. And I wanted to give you a heads up if it doesn't sound to normal standard.

I apologize genuinely.

But I've done my best and I wanted to have, I wanted to make sure you add something from us before we went away for Christmas.

Also, it is, and we'll mention this at the start, but I'll mention this again in a good quality microphone.

The biography on Bulldog has some real highs and some real lows throughout it.

And I, and I, if this is the first time you're listening to a classic raw review podcast, I would recommend maybe not making this your first one. Simply because over the last year or two, there's kind of become like a classic raw review podcast version of the British Bulldog Davy Boy Smith, who's kind of like a comic book character brought to life, sort of like a bungling be no character that we've had so much love and so much fun from.

And to do this series, we kind of, we play into that quite a bit,

but there are some dark moments in here as well. And I wanted to give you a heads up. The

biography special talks a lot about substance abuse and violence in some cases that I wanted to make sure you knew about before we started.

So if the audio issues aren't for you and if the subject matter isn't for you, I totally get it.
