Well, we get letters, we get messages, and sometimes the messages are from people who aren't happy with what we did.

What else is known?

Of course.

And anyway, regarding that appearance of Dr. Roger Lear in our June 17th show, a listener says,

The Allegations from Daryl Sims that he didn't discover the implant.

Sims did. They were in a corporate partnership together, et cetera, et cetera. Why didn't we ask

Dr. Lear about it? Simple answers. Well, here we are. We've got Lear on. We've got lots of

questions to ask them about things that are relevant to the field. The big issue is, are we going to sidetrack off into personality issues between him and

Sims?

Now, given that, I personally didn't think much of what Sims had to say on the show.

And I like having Dr. Lear on the show.

I didn't see much of a reason to.

And the other thing, as Dr. Lear said before the show began, he didn't want to get involved

in personalities, period.

So asking him on the air to answer a question that he would not answer would be unproductive.

It wouldn't serve anybody's interest, so he didn't do it.

And it turns out he did say some sort of roundabout derogatory stuff about Sims anyway. He was very

politically correct about it though. And again, ultimately it comes down to does it serve a

purpose to get off into that tangent? Do we get any closer to understanding anything about

these things that Lear is pulling out of people's bodies.

And no, I don't think we do get closer to any answers by pursuing the personality issue.
