The big interview with me.

Is football gives you a shot of adrenaline and happiness and does things

that you can't understand time and time again it builds the

climaxes that are as dramatic as anything that art, theatre, opera, ever invented.

One of the guys that we always aspire to talking to was Jamie Carrechre.

And the reason is, when you approach reporting on football for a living you can

make a choice whether you want to appear cool and always in the right whether you

let your passion for the subject spill out at the risk of being

maybe called naive or boyish, but I like to approach my work with my heart on my sleeve, open, honest and full of a passion for the subject.

That matched with Jamie, who played that way, who inspired me, who I loved

watching, learn and change. In this interview he'll talk about how he rates his ability, what made him a player to lift four European trophies.

He'll make me laugh, as I knew he would, and he'll take me back to the first time I met him which was in a

legends game in the Olympic Stadium in Munich just before Chelsea Byron Munich in

the European Cup finally was there with his boy was a talented footballer, and he told me about having gone as an

Everton fan to, I think the quarter of the semi-final of the Cup winners cup with Everton when he was

eight years old, taken by his dad because already football at eight,

particularly Everton in those days was an all-encompassing passion.
