Summary
Here’s another chance to hear my interview with Damien Duff from season one.
In part one, Damien describes how as a kid he instinctively knew to practice for hours alone to develop his ball skills. He tells about cleaning Tim Sherwood's boots and struggling with homesickness as a youngster at Blackburn. It was all character building, and at the FIFA World Youth Championships in 1997, where Ireland finished third, Damien knew in his heart that he was going to make it.
