Okay, so it's the return of the world famous classic album, Clash, and I've had this one

on the books for a while, talking of course about Pantera, Cowboys from Hell, versus Vonger,

display of power, and the returning rich word, notes word, the most organized classic album,

Clash contender, Grant Brooks, Storm Raphazzy, another Pantera disciple, and then Sam,

Abernathy, who we've had to switch some things around, because you're such a Pantera fan,

but I really wanted to get the four of us in here. We're sitting in Hotel Roman, Adelaide,

Australia, and it's very apropos because Pantera, the, what would you call it, said,

the reprise, the tribute, the new birth of Pantera, I guess, just to place last night in Mexico.

So first and foremost, Sam, what did you think when you first heard about this Pantera,

a rebirth, I guess you'd say?

Oh man, I was happier than a kid on Christmas day, yeah. At first I was a bit apprehensive,

and then I just sat in my thoughts for a second, and I said, I saw who it was, and I saw who was

going to be doing it. And I was like, these are the right guys, this is the music, I never got

to see Pantera, and now I have a chance, you know, now I have a chance to feel that music live

in front of my face that I didn't get to when I was younger, I was, you know, 10 years younger than

you guys, and I didn't, you know, it wasn't an opportunity. It's interesting to me because a lot

of people that were like kind of the hardcore Pantera fans were initially against it, but you had a

great point, you never got to see them. Never. And my point was, I would, I said all the time,

a world with Pantera music in it is better than a world without Pantera music in it. And I'll

just answer my own question. I thought it was cool, right from the start, obviously we know

Zach very well and Charlie very well. And I knew Vinny very well, and I think they were the right

guys from a respect standpoint, from playing standpoint, and from a superstar marquee supergroup

...
