Welcome to the Bronx Pinstripe Show.

Happy Easter. Happy Passover, happy whatever you celebrate,

happy the fact that the Yankees won another series.

Last episode, we did that quick math,

figured out Yankees are on 108 win pace.

They're still on 108 win pace since they won 2 out of 3 from Baltimore.

It's just a shame that the raise are on 162 win pace. Yeah, those guys look pretty damn good. They destroy. Who were they playing? Oakland again? They've played, well, so they have played bad competition. They've played, they've played Detroit. They played Washington and then in Oakland, three bottom feet of teams. That's a nice little, nice little way to start the season.

Three really shitty teams.

But they're annihilizing.

Yeah.

They're plus 57 run differential through nine games, which almost seems impossible to do even against bad teams.

But, you know, this is not a race podcast.

This is a Yankees podcast.

Yeah, no, they're a good team. And they're going to hang around. We'll see how they get to a better competition. But hey, another series win. That's all we're asking for. We just want series wins. And they did it again. You know, I thought we're some good stuff, really good stuff for this week. Baltimore, I said this in the past. Like, if it's not this year, it's next year. It's, they're very close. They're very close. And they have a ton of talent. And I was talking about this with a buddy of mine yesterday. Adley Rushman is one of the most impressive young players I've ever seen. I mean, he's legitimately going to be a Hall of Famer. Like, I'm stamping it right now. He's got that makeup, man. You know, it's crazy to say something like that, but he's got that makeup of a Buster Posey type. Didn't the Orioles put Matt Weidder's in the Hall of Fame after his rookie season two? No, he's different. Matt Wieders didn't look like a catcher ever. You know, he had good offensive. This kid is fully well-rounded. He's built like a truck. He just, you know, the way that he handles himself, he looks the part. Everything about him says this kid's going to be a very, very, very good catcher for a long time. And a huge pain in the ass. The thing about the Orioles is they have a lot of young talent at the major league level right now and their farm system is still ranked number one in baseball with all the talent in there. So it's like you combine those two things and yeah, this year maybe they're fighting for a wildcard spot. Even if they don't, you know the next three years they're going to really take off with that young talent, kind of like we saw Toronto do. Tampa, but like that Toronto lineup, like all of a sudden one season, you looked at it and you're like, wait, there's six all-stars at the top of that order? Like, what happened here?

And I feel like that's what's going to happen with Baltimore. Don't forget. Tampa was bad for a really long time. They stockpiled like top five draft picks for a while. And so did the Houston Astros. And that's why the Houston Astros got to the point where they did. They were stockpiling talent for a very long time. the the Tampa Bay did the same thing and the Orioles.

I mean, the Orioles.
