And it's a really simple idea that seems like it is something ready for prime time but

has a creep out factor to it as well.

So I want to talk about something that I addressed recently in one of my back to basics episodes

if you've been listening to those and this was the one about carbine and there was a

move just adopted by the U.S. Congress that allows car dealers unlimited ability to

mark up car loans as high as they possibly wish.

It's a practice that most car buyers are not aware of but it's something you need to

be fully cognizant of when you go to buy a vehicle.

Really from what I've seen eight out of 10 car buyers finance a car they're buying at

the dealer instead of doing it the right way going to a credit union or the mediocre way

going to a bank to get pre approved for a car loan.

So historically a car dealer so may come in just excited about a car new car use car

fever and they sit down with the person in the finance department and say oh wow

oh we look through your credit oh wow it's going to be really hard work here I'm really
