Roughly half of Americans have no money at all to deal with an unexpected expense.

I remember right the most recent survey said 44% of Americans could not handle a minor

financial, what's called an emergency, that may be a stretch of the word but an unexpected

expense.

But you know in life unexpected expenses happen.

And a lot of people are left to the mercy of these predatory payday loans where you end

up paying 400 to 800% interest to get over a rough spot but the interest rates are so

high that what tends to happen is that it leads to a death spiral for your wallet.
