Talk to you about something that has come up as a real danger and that is laptops and

the batteries in them.

So you may have heard that there was this alert put out that you should never, ever check

a laptop is check bags if you're flying, you know, in your check baggage.

Because in the cargo hole, a laptop battery can end up spontaneously combusting and the

fire cannot necessarily be contained at all inside the cargo hole.

But a laptop that would catch fire in the passenger area, people are going to see it, they're

going to smell it, they're going to know it.

And with the fire equipment in the passenger cabin, it may be upsetting to people, but

the fire will be able to be put out.

And you know, there was the problem, was it one or two years ago with the Note 7 from

Samsung that the batteries they had had a design manufacturing defect and the batteries were
