So following hurricanes, Harvey and Irma, there's a lot of good stories and not some good

stories.

Starbucks got to give them some credit.

Actually, their employees, Starbucks like many other companies has an employee assistance

plan that's funded by their employees.

And so companies can collect money from workers.

We have one of these at the studio where you collect money from workers and then it's

used for employee assistance when other workers hit hardship.

And Starbucks closed 700 of its stores at least for a while, but the employees still

got paid generally because of other employees.

And what they had done with what they called the cup fund, of course Starbucks cup of coffee,

they call it the cup fund, but that's something that you as an employer, if you don't have

the ability to fund emergency relief to employees, you are allowed to set up a fund that your

employees do in fact contribute to.
