The IRS is entering into contracts with four debt collection companies to collect past due debts to the IRS.

And this is not the first time this has ever been tried it in the past when the IRS tried this.

It cost them more money to hire the outside collectors than they collected in tax.

So it actually took money away from the treasury instead of adding to it.

But this time the way the program is structured.

I'm very, very worried about scammers impersonating collectors working on behalf of the IRS and stealing money from people who either do or do not owe money to the IRS.

I have read deeply into the program.

And the IRS in my opinion has completely failed to structure this program in a way that you would not end up being conned by a con artist.
