2:38.0 | This can work either in a way where apartments are scarce and landlords want to see how much additional rent they can squeeze out of people or in the case of over supply of apartments allow the marketplace to set a rent to fill those units that otherwise would sit empty. |
3:01.0 | It's really brilliant because for apartment companies to figure out what is the optimum rent to charge that gets the highest occupancy is a difficult thing and I've told you about the moves from big apartment chains where they're now able to price rents on apartments even changing them hourly and taking into account that |
3:30.0 | a two bedroom apartment in one building of a complex may be worth a lot more rent than a two bedroom on the other side of the complex because of where it sits the view it might have how close it might be to the parking or to the pool or the gym or whatever I guess it's pretty fancy apartment complex has a gym. |
3:54.0 | But you get the idea this goes a step beyond and would even allow a landlord that just has a couple of properties to let the marketplace set the rent one of the people trying this is rent berry or int be or why and our producer Joel who has is a real estate mogul has multiple rental properties was all excited about this because you have a tough time trying to fix. |
