When it comes to divination, there are tools that focus

on casting and there are tools that focus on channeling. So, scrying is seeing something on the

surface of another thing. So, people who see things in mirrors or pools of water or candles,

things like that. And then casting is when you sort and throw something. So, think throwing a

pair of die or charms dominoes, which is the one I did in my book. And then, channeling is when

you use your body as the medium. So, automatic writing. The spirit would help you move your arm

to get the messages onto the paper. And then, the fourth is a combination of all three.

Tarot is a combination of all three because you're seeing something in the image, which is scrying,

channeling something. So, a message from a spirit through your body and you're casting something.

So, shuffling and laying down the cards that's casting.
