So Travis, we kind of get into the second part of the show.

The thing we wanted to talk about here is,

okay, so we've talked about the skill sets of the players. We've talked about what they need to do and

those type of things. Now, let's talk a little X's and those. Let's talk a little football.

Let's talk a little bit of scheme. And so what we want to do with this next part of the show is we're

going to talk about the depth at the end. But the first thing we want to do is we want to kind of look

at it and say, well, what will an offense look like with C.J. Carr or Kenny Minchie leading

the way? The first thing, Travis, to kind of talk about things that we think are going to be true,

no matter who wins the job.

And those type of things are one thing that I think that's true.

There's two things that we believe to be true, no matter who wins the job.

Just the fact that these are the two in the battle, these two things are going to be true.

Number one is Notre Dame is going to be a far more effective passing team next year. A far more consistent, a far more efficient passing team. To what degree, that remains to be seen. But there's zero doubt in my mind that Noorame is going to throw

for more yards and have a higher yards per attempt average next season than they did this past season.

I think that's a given,

just big picture, that's a given no matter who wins a starting job. Yeah, absolutely.

Pass game is going to take that next step. And I think we're going to see more consistently

from a week to week basis what the passing game looked like last year in moments against Louisville,

and the second half against Penn State, and the second half against Ohio State.

I'm not saying that every single week.

There's going to be a guy that goes for seven for 180 and two touchdowns.

But it's just going to be a more integral part of the offense, I think, is aware that I'm looking for.
