On Monday, President Biden called for a war crimes trial against Russian President Vladimir Putin after reports and graphic images from Kyiv-area towns circulated, showing hundreds of Ukrainian civilians tortured and slain. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called this “a genocide” and Western leaders have made statements promising Moscow will face additional harsh sanctions for the atrocities seen in Bucha and neighboring Ukrainian towns. Director and Senior Fellow at the Middle East Institute and adjunct Professor of European Security at Georgetown University, Iulia Joja joins to discuss how the atrocities in Bucha demonstrate a new scare tactic from Russia. The Walt Disney Corporation has long enjoyed special privileges in the state of Florida which allowed them to self-govern their properties. These privileges may come to an end, however, due to the company's recent opposition to new state legislation. Governor Ron DeSantis unveiled the Parental Rights in Education bill which prohibits classroom discussion of gender and sexual identity, and critics such as Disney have denounced it, claiming it poses a risk to LGBTQ+ safety. Governor DeSantis responded to Disney's announcement with potential regulations that could limit Disney's independence in Florida.
