Just 85 years after the Declaration of Independence,

the United States began tearing itself apart. The Battle of Antietam on the 17th of September

1862 is perhaps the bloodiest day in all of American history with 22,654 Americans left injured dead or dying.

As the Civil War ends, 2% of the entire American population have been killed.

After families, friends and neighbors found themselves facing each other in a truly uncivil war.
