He is the chair of our history and political science program here at Guilford Technical Community College. What you may not know about Dr. Kynard is that

he is a military historian. He's an expert in military history. He is published at least four books on anything from weaponry,

weaponry from the Civil War, Revolutionary War. He collects a host of artifacts, which he has

brought and will share with us today. He is a Ph.D., a earned his doctorate from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.
