Also things that candidates Andrew Cuomo and Curtis Slewa said on this show in this month's

round of candidate interviews, Cuomo dismissing Mayor Bill de Blasio's role in bringing universal pre-K to New York City

and Sliwa dismissing the idea on the right of Zoran Mamdani as a mortal threat to New York City,

even as Slewa campaigns against him as the Republican candidate.

written statement from Mamdani, who's returning from a family trip abroad. But before even play the

clips, is this the material of a campaign debate at all? I mean, everyone deplores this shooting,

of course. Are there issues related to it for the candidates to disagree on?
