I took a break from life yesterday, which was not sexy at all.

I've done nothing for the past week and change, but work, work, work, work, work.

So many deadlines, so much to take care of.

I was just going non-stop with these 18 hours, 16 hour, 14 hour days, 12 hour days, was

like leaving early for the day.

And I was just like, I can't.

I can't.

I usually clean my house pretty thoroughly every Wednesday and every Sunday.

And I'd skip two Wednesdays and a Sunday, like my house looked crazy.

I took the sheets off the bed to wash them like a week and change ago, so there was just

like a naked mattress and I'd been sleeping on the couch.

And then like the dishes were piled up in the sink, the floor hadn't been swept, papers

everywhere, magazines everywhere.

And I was just like, I can't live like this.

If someone came in my house, they would be like, this woman is mentally unwell.

This place looks crazy.

So I had to go clean up my damn house.

And then I had to take care of like a million small things, like emails that needed responding

to and bills that needed to be paid before they were late, change the water and my roses,

things like that.
