Let's go back a bit to the middle of March. The Texas Supreme Court shut down a federal challenge to its controversial ban on abortion after six weeks of pregnancy. The move upheld the

ban and effectively blocked any further legal action that could overturn it. Well, this did not

sit right with abortion activists, nor was it okay with a number of businesses

across the country. Most companies that reacted to the ban were small or relatively new,

according to the New York Times. Bumble created a relief fund for people affected by the law.

Lifton Uber said they would cover legal costs for drivers who transported people to abortion

clinics.

But those who opposed the ban found another rather unexpected ally in a massive Wall Street bank.
