Today we'll hear the story of a monster named Bobbillon and how he changed in ways he

never thought possible.

I'm Rebecca Scher and this is Circle round spotlight.

An original story dreamed up by a real life modern day author.

The story is called Bobbillon and the Magic Star.

It's written by Kikuwa Dato who told this story to her own children when they were growing

up.

The tale is narrated by the one and only Yoyo Ma.

Yoyo Ma is a world-class cellist who also works to make the world a better place.

And now, Bobbillon and the Magic Star.

There once was a monster named Bobbillon.

He was big and fierce with a mane like a mighty lion and the body of a giant bear.

When he stood on his hind legs, he was extra tall and he had an enormous appetite.
