Joining us today is Cindy Murphy. She's here to share the story of her son Tristan, who battles schizophrenia.

Tristan was managing well on medication for some time, but his condition worsened. Following an incident

where he took a pickup truck and crashed it into a pond, he was arrested and sent to Charlotte

County Jail. He was later convicted, transferred to the Florida Department of Corrections, and assigned

to work duty. Tragically, his story ended with a loss of his life while in jail.
