So in the opening segment, we discussed the Yankees issues and jazz and the Aaron Boone and the accountability and all that went into it.

But my statement was, unlike these other series where I screamed and yelled and talked about

how much this team stinks, I do acknowledge there's two months left in the season.

And this team is a team that was just all in less than a week ago on the trade deadline,

so to speak, with the bullpen arms.

This series versus the Marlins has to be the last rock bottom.

No pun intended for the wrestling world of the Yankee season.

And usually when a team hits rock bottom, that's it.

They've hit rock bottom.

They rise back up.

Unfortunately, the Yankees have had multiple rock bottoms this year where they thought

they would rebound.

So what are the top five rock bottoms of the Yankee season so far, or bottom five?

Here we go. Okay. Here we go. Number five. How about to end the first half of the season before the All-Star break? They win those four-n-rovers to Mariners. How do they respond after that? That Saturday and Sunday, two straight losses to the Cubs to end the first half. they went womp wom womp, womp into the All-Star break. And it felt like that kind of drained some momentum that they had built back up when they had beat the bricks off, the Mariners. Yeah, they had that Friday night, too, where I feel like they scored a lot of runs. Yeah, Bellinger had the... Three homers? Three homers? I think had three homers in that game. And then they scored maybe like one run combined on Saturday and Sunday and they went into the break on a whimper. Yep, that was number five. All right. Here we go. Number four. This is a one game rock bottom, but it was our first true, true warning sign of the Yankees. Saturday, May 31st. Some remember that is Nick's elimination night. You remember it is the night the Yankees lost to the Dodgers 18 to 2 on two solo

solo King Judge Homers. They lost.

Right.

Now that officially declared the series was a loss to the Dodgers.

That was two straight.

But the Yankees losing 18 to 2 to the team that beat them in the World Series in late May was our first sign that that was a rock bottom. Oh, you can't get blown out like that again, and they've had many other problems. Yeah, it looked like, you know, men against boys there. They just looked like they weren't even in the league of the Dodgers. They were humiliated that night, for sure. All right, here we go. Number three.

The beginning of the Boon, June Swoon, some have said. June 13th, the 16th. The Yankees are swept three games by the Boston Red Sox. Don't look now. Those games matter. Boston's giving them a honk and a wave pass in them in the standings. It was then followed by three straight losses to the Angels, a six-game losing streak for the Yankees.
