Kyle Shanahan just announced that Brock Purdy is out for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers,

and that Brandon Allen will be making the starts.

We mentioned a while ago, hey, would the Niners consider signing Daniel Jones with the uncertain health of Brock Purdy?

The other piece of news is that Stephen Jones, son of Jerry Jones, deciding with the Dallas

Cowboys, decision maker with the Dallas Cowboys, was asked about signing Daniel Jones,

because obviously that's the first joke everybody made when Daniel was cut.
