Today is the site of the Giants fan fest.

As we ready for the start of the NFL season here in New York,

the 100th season for the New York football giants

and coming up in the 6 o'clock hour we'll talk to a bunch of giant legends as we'll be here until seven o'clock

Sean just hit me and said let's go because the New York Yankees have officially won a baseball game.

They beat the Chicago Cubs 3-0.

You may have heard a little bit of it on the 660 side.

We'll be joined by 660, I guess, in about 45 minutes or so.

But the Yankees shut out the Cubs they get six brilliant

innings at a Louise heel but then they get nine outs out of their bullpen

protecting a three-nothing lead none of those outs recorded by Clay Holmes

they get those nine outs including the last

three by Luke Weaver with two strikeouts. I don't think this means Luke

Weaver is the closer because I do think that Aaron Boone is going to have to play

the matchup game but in day number one of playing said

match up game it worked out. Jake Cousins pitched the seventh, Tommy

canley pitched the eighth, and then Luke Weaver shut the door in the ninth

inning and the Yankees win a very important game.

They are now, I guess, tied for first place in the American League East.

That's right.
