I have a list in front of me of common off days that the Mets and the Cardinals have. Of course. Because this is the problem. If they rein this game out and don't play, they don't see the Cardinals again in St. Louis, obviously. So they would have to find the common off day to make up this game.

My understanding is the reason they're playing at night is they left the afternoon open in case opening day got rained out.

They could always have done a day-night double header.

Because the Yankees traditionally do not play night games unless a TV network forces them to.
