editor's note. In this episode our guest John Kiriaku states that Matthew Cole gave a classified

name to Guantanamo Bay defense attorneys and that the FBI was able to identify Kiriaku as the

source through a connection back to Cole. Matthew Cole categorically denies all of these allegations

and further denies that he helped or provided any information to the FBI. Matthew Cole also denies

other characterizations by Kiriaku of the events and we have edited the segment to better reflect

Welcome to Useful Idiots, I'm Matt Taiyibi. I'm Katie Halper. And a lot of things happened last

week. A lot of things did happen last week. And we'll get to like two of them. Yeah at least.

So we have an interesting show. We're going to have a former CIA officer John Kiriaku on

controversial figure. Former whistleblower is going to talk to us about a bunch of things. His

story is kind of relevant to a few things that are going on in the news lately so it's going to be

interesting to talk to him about that. Yeah. Also some stuff going on with people that we know. Yeah

I'm an ex-bleman though. An ex-bleman doll reporter. I think it's sort of it's on us to sort of

raise awareness about this. It's on us. Yeah yeah because I don't see more reporters should be

nervous about what happened. Yeah right we see we'll get to that but it's like the Assange

factor where there's an Ick factor. Right right. And no one's rising to his defense and they

shit because this is a freaky little incident that happened. So let's get to the the four food

groups. We have four only four stories. Republican sec, Democrat sec isn't that terrible? Isn't

that weird? And we have a lot I mean as always a lot of Republican sec but what do we have for

this week? So today I thought I'd focus on the story about Katie Hill, the California Democratic
