Without even intentionally realizing that we do it, we surround ourselves with people who think

like us. What do you think is going to happen when you share your opinion or someone else

shares their opinion? Everybody's going to confirm that that opinion is correct. As pack

animals, we have created a pack around ourselves of people who think and feel and believe like us.

And it's very, very hard to get out of that.

Even awareness isn't actually enough to fix it because it's so natural.

It's just built into our human psyche. So I'm really excited to be on the phone with you, and I woke up this morning to this incredible thunderstorm in the deserts of Arizona, which is, if you recall from when we lived in Abu Dhabi, rain in the desert is a good omen.

So this conversation, I already know it's going to be amazing because there was a thunderstorm

in the desert.

That's so funny.

You know, it's funny when you bring up the rainstorms in Abu Dhabi because oftentimes they were the precursor to the

rainstorm were these like giant sandstorms unlike anything I'd ever seen before.

So I'm actually a little curious in the United States, you know, in the desert of the United

States, is it the same way? Or is it really just the skies

open up there? So I remember when I was a kid growing up, I mean, I was little, but I remember

it when I was little, four, five, six years old, that there were sandstorms in Arizona when we

lived in Tucson. Yeah. And I don't remember if they correlated with thunderstorms or not, but I really remember

like getting rushed into the house and closing the doors and closing the curtains

and closing the windows.
