Some of you were sitting here going, wow, what did I get myself into at church this weekend?

What you got yourself into, frankly, is just a little picture of how church is meant to operate.

You've maybe heard a saying that a lot of adults are, just a little picture of how church is meant to operate.

You've maybe heard a saying that a lot of adults are fond of saying,

and when the church says it, it's well-intentioned,

a lot of churches will say about teenagers.

Teenagers, we love teenagers.

In fact, we love them so much, we recognize that teenagers are the church of the future. Teenagers are the church of tomorrow. And I appreciate that sentiment,

but I'm so thankful that here at Saddleback, we recognize that teenagers aren't the church

of the future. Teenagers aren't the church of the future,

teenagers aren't the church of tomorrow, that teenagers are every bit the church of today.

Every bit the church of today.

And this weekend is meant to be just a little peek into how amazing some of the students are here at Salbach Church and how wonderful

our student ministries department is. And since most of you don't get the chance to visit our

student ministries department, you're welcome to any time. You're welcome to wander down to the

refinery. It's an amazing place. We love it when

adults show up to see what's going on. But since that isn't the case for so many of you,

we thought this weekend we would come to you and give you a little peek into some of the things

that we're doing and some of the lives that have been changed as a result of our youth ministry

here at Saddleback. And so we thought would be fun to have a panel of
