Well my wife Donna and I were laughing earlier this week about the first time our daughter Hannah was bullied.

Or they attempted to bully her.

She was about six, seven years old at the playground on the swings.

And some little boys came into the playground and began to make fun of her.

And specifically make fun of her glasses.

And they called her four eyes.

And our daughter, without really breaking a sweat, just looked at them while swinging and said,

people who call names have said hearts.

And then she kept swinging and said, and I like my glasses.

And they walked away confused and contemplating their life choices.

So we were laughing about it as you are.

Because we sat there and we were like, that's our girl, right?

That is our daughter.

She's got her mom's boldness and sense of style.

And she's got her dad's calm and quirky logic.

And she, in her own personalized way, just manifests the character of her community.

She looks like the people who raised her.

And it's a cool thing to watch our daughter live out the values we're trying to instill in her.
