Here's what's going on today. Keeping up a small business, I have to imagine is

tough right now. Not only did the COVID pandemic probably take a toll, but now

business owners are having to deal with staffing challenges, inflation, and supply

chain shortages. Yeah, and you see it every day. You like your restaurants some days

have dining room hours. Yeah. The other days don't. And sometimes the regular hours

change. It's really hit or miss. Yeah, and I really don't understand why there are so

many challenges with staffing. And yeah, and why people haven't gone back to work in

that sector. Like where do you go? What do you do? You got to be doing something. Exactly.

Well, to cover the calls that these issues are causing an article I found claims that

some restaurants are passing those charges on to their customers. Always do minimum

wage rising. Yes, what your burger went up. Yep. Through various surcharges at

the end of the bill and hoping that you don't notice. So they're not changing the

people. They're not changing the menu prices because they want to keep in those

competitive prices with other restaurants. Right. But they're just going to give

you the bill after your meal. And then if you look down, some of these surcharges
