Welcome to church at home. This was a moment that none of us were able to see coming, but now that we're

standing in it, I feel like the presence of God is about to do something so special. And for every single one of

you watching this moment, you know that the events of the past few weeks, even in the past

week or the past couple of days in our community has been so crazy in response to the COVID,

coronavirus. And so we wanted this moment during church at home to be one where you felt like

you were still gathering with your family, even if we are gathered in homes,

in apartments, or wherever you are watching this from, we want it to feel like church.

And the great thing is, we have been a church without walls from the very beginning.

And so we can meet together as a church, if it looks different but different doesn't mean

disengage and so our hope for this moment is that you are gathered around a few people who you can

lean into the word of God with who you can pray with and we can experience the spirit of God moving

in us from the inside out there's actually a live audience in front of me full of people

who were able to make it up to ACC on very, very, very short notice. Some of them just cut

back for mission trips on very, very, very little amounts of sleep. And so we're hoping that

this allows you to step into this moment and participate with us. But before we jump into the Word of God and I tell you about where we're going to be going

in the Bible, I want to give you a few announcements about the foreseeable future for Auburn Community Church.

The reality is I feel like this situation changes every single day.

And we really didn't think we were going to have to cancel services on

Sunday or switch to church at home. And now here we are. And so the reality is we just don't know.

If I had to guess, I would say we're doing something like this all over again next Sunday on

March 22nd. I hope that we're able to meet by March 29th or April the 5th. But the reality is we just don't know. What we want you to do, though, is prepare for moments like this. Make sure you have a community to gather with and people who you can come around the Word of God with. And if you don't, you can go to our website and figure out ways to connect. A couple of announcements. We are postponing our men's and women's events that are coming up. So if you didn't know this, we had a men's retreat scheduled for next week at Lake Martin, postponing that. And then the women's local if gathering that was coming the weekend after that. We're postponing that for now. If that ends up getting canceled, we're going to reimburse everybody and get with you. If we end up moving it to a date that you can't attend, we're going to take care of all of that.

The reality is we just don't know on those two things.
