Bumping into various people up here that we're gonna put on the show, but we've just bumped into Jeremy Volo and he's going to talk to us here a little

bit about some of the influences on him but he pastors Grace Community Church in the

border town of Laredo, Texas.

So Jeremy, it's good to have you with us.

Thank you, Dr. Nichols.

It's good to be here.

So before you stepped into the pulpit, you were on the pitch.

Is that right?

Yes, I played four years of professional soccer,

and about halfway through those four years,

two years in, I began feeling this intolerable burden

to preach the gospel, and my passion was waning

from the football field and into the pulpit and so soon after I entered into

ministry and into the pulpit you went that's's right. And before that, Philadelphia area.

Yes. So we've got that Pennsylvania Keystone State connection in common.

I knew there was something special about it.

Indeed. We can spot it. Well, it's good to chat with you and at this point you're sort of early in your ministry and you've also planted a church though across the border.

Right. So you've planted a church in Mexico.

Just tell us a little bit about... So you've planted a church in Mexico.

So just tell us a little bit about maybe some of the influences from church history on you in terms of just you personally and your pastoral ministry and what you're trying to do there in the church.

One of the greatest influences in recent church history on me as a young preacher has
