This week I've decided to re-broadcast an episode we recorded a little under a year ago.

And it's a conversation that I had with Chuck Todd, the anchor and I think managing political director of ABC News and the

anchor of Meet the Press.

I feel like this conversation that Chuck and I had, even though it was right before this election season got in full swing,

speaks to a lot of the stuff that people are thinking about and talking about right now,

and I know it's a lot of the stuff that I'm thinking about and talking about right now and I know it's a lot of the stuff

that I'm thinking about and talking about right now. And you can hear Chuck trying

to figure out how to manage what had become an increasingly difficult and disparate group of like

leverage points and issues and I really admire the forthright way in which he answered my questions and in which he's trying to carry out his job.

I read in the paper today that he has just told a certain candidate

that that candidate can no longer just call into his show, which is a really big

step and a real separator from people on the other shows.

I think Chuck's job is very difficult, but I do think that it is his responsibility, as it

is Stephanopoulos' responsibility, as it is all the responsibilities to call out the lies

when they hear them and to be our advocates, our voice in the middle of this political storm.
