Are you familiar with one Chuck Swindall began listening to him decades ago.

He was perhaps the most helpful preacher in helping me to apply theology.

Why?

Because that's his specialty.

While he would say he does expository preaching, his emphasis, it tips way on the side of application

as opposed to as much exposition.

I didn't say he doesn't do any exposition.

I'm just saying his expertise and his emphasis is on application.

And when I first got saved, it was like, oh, so that's what you do with the doctrine

of justification, whoa, I didn't realize that that's how that theology actually applied

itself to life.

And he was very helpful in that regard.

But it's been really a couple of decades since I've listened to Chuck Swindall.

But for some reason, a few weeks ago, thought of him looked him up.

He's 88 years old.
