On the show today, well, it's not actually the show. It's a bonus pod version of the Ricky.

It's not really the Ricky. In any case, it's just me and Chuck Closterman.

Chuck Closterman is my favorite author in the world, and I was lucky enough to host an event with Chuck

for his new book, Football, at the Midtown Scholar Bookstore in Harrisburg last week.

Chuck has been my favorite author for a while,

probably almost 20 years now. A boss when I moved to Chicago, Mike Stern, shout out Mike Stern.

When I went to work there, I worked at an alternative music radio station. He found out I was a

hair band guy, and he either gave me a copy or told me to read Fargo Rock City by Chuck.

Since then, he's been my favorite author, he's a must read.

So we've had Chuck on the Ricky a couple of different times, but Alex over at Midtown

Scholar always wanted to do an event with me.

He's a big Ricky guy and Chuck, and he finally got to do it.

So thank you to Alex, to Alex Brewbaker over at Midtown Scholar, Midtown Scholar Bookstore.
