With reports coming in every day of more and more people receiving the COVID vaccine, it's making Americans feel better about working again from the office instead of at home.

Makes a lot of sense. But many dog owners are starting to express worry over their pet who may be dealing with some separation anxiety.

Okay, I mean, I guess if you're always around your pooch or whatever or your cat and then you're gone all of a sudden, but really they sleep a lot, you know.

Cats do. Yeah, but either dogs. Yeah, depending on the age, I guess. Yeah, but if you find yourself in this situation, may I introduce you to pet therapy?

No, no, no, no. We over there by humans.

Well, now pets have that option. There are now classes on techniques you can use to help your dog deal with his or her anxiety.

Oh my god, we have dogs with anxiety now. Oh my god.

Okay, so here is a woman. Her name is called she's telling us about the techniques she is using on her dog Marty to help him.

This is in your bed technique and this is to help him realize that this is a safe place for him to go when I am away.

This is Marty's treat ball that I use every time I try to leave the apartment, I give it to him as a distraction.

I stuff a treat in there and then I ask him to go to his bed. I give it to him in his bed and then I quickly escape. So he doesn't notice that I'm gone.

We do the same thing with children, like I remember that too, when I tried to put my kid to bed, like, oh, I just, I, uh, this is probably like expensive through the roof too.

Oh, yeah, yeah. I'd love to know what her degree was like and she's finally actually getting to use it like a good on her.

Well, here's the thing and I understand where you're coming from, but I do want to point out that there are some out there that maybe don't have a close family nearby.

Maybe they never had children. So their pets are their children. And so you want to do what's best for them. And maybe I don't know.

Oh, my God. Here's my, here's my honest thing with it. We talk about anxiety. People that really suffer from anxiety. I feel for it. It's a, it's a mess, man. It's hard, but I think we lumped so many things into the umbrella of anxiety.

That aren't anxiety and it diminishes people with real anxiety issues. You know, it's like, oh, I have anxiety. I have anxiety. That's the thing today. Like, like, everyone of my daughter's friends, they love anxiety.

Like, it's just the world you're living in. I understand. But also, let me point out that when a dog has separation anxiety, I know this from a neighbor that I live close by, uh, that I share a wall with that puppy has separation anxiety in the whole day.
