Coming to you from Cheltenham in the UK, and I am the co-host of the podcast with Aaron

Heim at Denver Seminary, Matthew Bates, at Quincy University in Illinois, and Drew Johnson,

at the King's College in New York City. And Drew and I are going to be co-hosting

this podcast. We have a very special edition of the podcast today with Professor Christopher

Ralston of George Washington University. The reason we're bringing him on today,

it's not because of a particular book, but it's because of a particular find that's been in the media

recently. That is the supposed Isaiah Seal impression. And there's going to be a fair bit of

technical lingo in this podcast episode. But because this has been such a sensational find, or at least

there's been a lot of sensationalism around the find, we thought it would be important to

talk through some of the details. And part of the point is that some of these finds have

complex realities tied up with them that need to be hashed out.

And so while it might be exciting to say this is a seal impression of Isaiah of Jerusalem,

Christopher Ralston urges some caution and hesitation around making those kinds of claims.

So you'll hear it from him,

but I just wanted to let you know that get out your Bible dictionary when you listen to this

episode, there can be a few technical terms. But, you know, that's the advantage of listening to the
