Hello, my name is Christopher Rundstrom, and I'm your weekly horoscope columnist here on

Astrology Hub. And this time, I wanted to welcome you to a special holiday episode of the

Astrology Hub podcast.

In 1965, after Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanets gang was featured on the cover of Time magazine,

the creator Charles Schultz was approached by the Coca-Cola Company to create a Christmas special

to be aired on CBS. Schultz teamed up with Vince Goraldi, a San Francisco-based

jazz musician who created the iconic score. Vince was a huge fan of the comic strip, The Peanets,

and had already composed a theme song called Linus and Lucy, which would become

a jazz standard around the world. Schultz had only a few weeks to create the Christmas

special, which would include winter scenes, a school play, a scene to be read from the Bible,

and a soundtrack combining jazz and traditional Christmas music.
