Before we begin I want to tell you about the new season of Birds of Empire, a cinematic event in

podcasting. The series takes us to North Dakota 15,000 years after the fall of our civilization. The Earth has reclaimed the cities of the modern world,

returning humanity to a way of life that feels ancient and advanced.

The history of our world survives only as myths and legends.

Birds of Empire is about four different tribes in the land that used to be called

South Dakota. The tribes are the wolves, the rams, the bears, and the birds. Book 1,

The Dawn Age introduced us to the characters we're going to follow as they chart the rise of the

first great empire in this new world.

Book 2, the seed of white rock, weaves their stories together.

Their destinies collide against the backdrop of war, natural disasters,

alliances, loves, and losses.

All of our heroes will be tested.
