of his very real presence in your life. Well, welcome to this very special edition, the Christmas

edition of Susie Larson Live. We're doing something different, and if you enjoy it, we might do it

again every year as a tradition. On the live show, I'm drawing from the Christmas story from Scripture, offering some of

my own commentary and thoughts, drawing from some of my favorite Advent devotionals,

as well as playing some of my favorite Christmas songs that I return to time and time again.

If you're listening on podcast, we're not able to play those songs, but we will have those

in the show notes. So as you listen to the show, I pray you'll also give some time and space to

sit back, relax, and soak in the stories in the songs that we play, because they're so beautiful.

They do tell a story, and they help us reflect on Christ in us, our hope of

glory. We're going to dedicate this show to Jesus, to celebrating this season. I'm going to

intermittently read passages of scripture, read from some different Christmas devotionals,

give you some of my thoughts, and play some of my favorite songs that I love to play

at this time of the year. I'm praying for you that this is a season where you see God.

You know, it's easy to go into the situation with expectations. We did a show about that

recently rather than expectancy. But if you can enter into this season, and we're

right in the middle of it now, aren't we, with wide-eyed expectancy, looking for the good,

looking for God, expecting and counting on his faithfulness, his goodness, his still small
