Today in Matthew 2, 7 through 12, as we look more closely at the Christmas story. We're going to see worship fleshed out in an

entirely different way. Welcome to the morning mindset. It's time for us to get our minds aligned with the

All right. We're going to be looking at Matthew 2, 7, through 12, so get out your Bibles.

Our guide, as we read these stories, they can seem very far away, kind of fanciful and like a fairy tale. But Lord, we know that this is a historic account. This is a retelling of what really happened. And we ask you to cause that truth and the

reality of what happened to penetrate us. And for us to see in the wise men, an example to follow, as we realize who Jesus

really is. We ask it, in Jesus' name, amen. All right, friends, if you have your Bible's

Matthew 2, 7 through 12. It says, then Herod summoned the wise men secretly and ascertained from them

what time the star had

appeared. And he sent them to Bethlehem, saying, go and search diligently for the child,

and when you have found him, bring me word that I too may come and worship him. After listening to

the king, they went on their way. And behold, the star that they had seen when it rose

went before them until it came to rest over the place
