I'm there's just no two ways around it. I think one of the reasons is because it's family time. And it's when we take a break from our busy lives and we really focus on what's important. That's our family.

0:40.0

Yeah, but for a lot of people that's not the focus. They feel like such a I mean, they it's such a let up. You know, let down. It's relentless for the moms out there. I mean, I know you guys are laying around while Julian and I are cooking everything.

0:53.0

I mean, it's intense. It can feel like a lot of pressure around. We're playing. We're playing touch football. Okay. Watching football. All right. I feel like you guys are proving my point here. Julian, I are working really hard. But but but Christmas is a very special time.

1:08.0

It really is. It's a special time. It's a very hard time. Both. And I want to speak to both of them today. Special in the fact that hey, it's all about a family. God wanted a family. He sent Jesus who was God manifested in the flesh. Born in a trough. Can you imagine this?

1:25.0

Leaving the throne of heaven and getting born in a stable around a bunch of animals. And that sounds like your nightmare through. Yeah, it is. And going through the hardships of life that all human beings face. And then innocently going to the cross and shedding every drop of his blood in his family in his body because God wanted a family. He wanted a family.

1:48.0

And so how how great an opportunity for us to be able to reach out to our families in this Christmas season. And you know, a lot of times you find that there's breaches and families Lisa and there's hearts. There's wounds. And I find that Christmas just opens the door.

2:04.0

It's almost like everybody time travels back to like when they were a kid when there was something unresolved or when they didn't get what they wanted. Not our kids. But I mean, there's a lot of people that that happens for you here about all the time.

2:15.0

Yeah, you know, but you know, we were forgiven unconditionally. Absolutely. And that's that's that's a great opportunity time for us to forgive unconditionally. And for us to bless when it's not deserved our family members. Maybe that there's been a breach. There's been a separation between us.

2:32.0

You know, my mother died a year ago in December. And so this would be my second Christmas without her. And I remember after she died, John, my brother and I were going through her apartment and there just seemed to be so much stuff.

2:46.0

So many things. And I found myself getting really frustrated. I found myself thinking, why? Why did she surround herself with so much stuff? Why? Why didn't she develop more in relationships? And before anybody's worried I'm being critical.

3:01.0

You know, God answered me right back and said, Lisa, your mother surrounded herself with things because she knew things wouldn't hurt her. And there's a lot of people that make Christmas about things because they've been hurt.

3:17.0

So I just want to echo what you said about really taking as the season to heal any breaches and to say what needs to be said and to celebrate people that maybe you would forget to celebrate at other times of the year.

3:31.0

Then the other thing we need to remember is this is a time when a lot of people are hurting. I mean,

3:36.0

they may have lost a loved one. Feel very obvious they don't have money.

3:42.0

And it's a pain. It's a painful time for a lot of people. And so where there is a lot of celebration, there's a lot of pain. Maybe there's been a divorce. Maybe there's been a tragedy, a son or daughter that's gone to war and not come back.

3:58.0

And so be sensitive to the people that are hurting. And I love how organizations, we've got the springs rescue here. We feed homeless people and take care of them. And I love that.

4:11.0

But also be aware of the people that are hurting that maybe do have meals. The ones that have lost something or experienced tragedies in their lives. And that's the real time to reach out.

4:23.0

It's just a reach out time as well as it is to enjoy and celebrate our family.

4:27.0
