So I'm going to do a short, just two, three minute story about the true St. Nicholas, who's

the inspiration for Santa Claus. And then I solicited

First off, who was St. Nicholas? So St. Nicholas was an early Greek Christian.

He was born in 270 AD, and he lived in the city of Mira in the region of Lycia, which is in Asia Minor, essentially the modern state of Turkey.

So he was a Greek who lived in what is now Turkey.

And he was a Christian and he was a bishop.

He came from a very wealthy family, but he dedicated his life to being a priest, to being religious, and to giving away that wealth that he inherited

from his parents.

And so he was known as this great gift giver.

He's also known as a worker of miracles.
