Welcome to Monster Talk's third annual Macabre Christmas Special. I'm Blake Smith and I'm trying to maintain

a tradition each year or perhaps to revive an old tradition of telling scary stories before Christmas.

Alas, due to a cold, which is still giving me a little trouble, I had no voice with which

to record in order to get this out before the actual holiday, but I hope you'll forgive me.

I'll give a little update about the podcast after this story,

but for now, why not turn down the lights, get cozy,

and prepare for what I hope are some chills.
