0:06.4	Go back to verse 1 of chapter 2 in Matthew, which says,
0:11.3	When Jesus is born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod,
0:14.4	there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem.
0:18.4	There's an immediacy in that verse.
0:20.6	It doesn't say two years later they came to Jerusalem.
0:23.7	It says, When Jesus was born, wise men came to Jerusalem.
0:29.2	God asked, Where's the King of the Jews?
0:30.7	We've seen a star in the east.
0:31.8	Now the east is going to be Mesopotamia.
0:35.9	It's going to be either Babylon area or Persia area.
0:39.6	By the way, who were the wise men?
0:42.0	We always debate this.
0:43.0	They're called Madgye, which means magicians, really.
0:46.8	But it actually means mystics.
0:48.6	There were Jewish mystics even back then.
0:50.5	I think the wise men were Jewish.
0:52.0	They were maybe Persian or Babylonian Jews.
0:55.0	But nobody else was reading Hebrew scripture other than Jews.
0:59.6	Nobody else is going to know the prophecy of a star rising in the east that you see,
1:03.3	like say from numbers 24 or other places.
1:06.6	We know there was a real star.
