I will come out and just state my position.

I am a deep Christmas lover.

I grew up with parents who are kind of hippie-ish, you know, alternative culture.

My parents like Christmas in their own way. I don't want to suggest that they are against Christmas. But I think in a funny way, as I've grown up and had my own kids, like I go all in. I go and I saw down a Christmas tree. We decorate the tree. We have stockings up for all four of us in the household.

We fill the stockings, you know, the night before Christmas.

We've set out milk and cookies and a carrot.

So anyway, Christmas believer here.

I used to love Christmas.

I, you know, not having kids, I kind of slowly grew away from it.

Now I just spent Christmas in some other country where I can just

go to dinner and a hotel and not have to worry about anything. And it's lovely. A hotel in

like Paris or Lisbon on Christmas Eve is like kind of its own thing. It's like, you know,

everybody's a little bit weird and it's great. Me being me and my outlook, things tend to get sort of dark and nefarious somewhat quickly.

And, you know, once you peel back the layer of any beloved tradition, be it Christmas or Easter or Valentine's Day, there's always dead bodies, decapitated heads, you know, something.

There's always good stuff.

And, you know, Christmas I don't think is any exception.

So, yeah, today on the show, we have a Grinch, a very cosmopolitan Grinch who seems to be having a good time on Christmas.

But a Grinch, nonetheless, this is writer and friend of the show, Colin Dickey, is here to meet my holiday dreams with the decapitated heads and rotting bodies of his monstrous Christmas.
