Most parents want to have that deep connection with their kids, but how do you start that conversation?

Especially when you ask them questions like how is school today, and the response is, I know, it's fine.

You're going to get the same response from a kid as you do from your husband on that question.

How is work today? Fine.

Yeah.

And then my wife wants all the details. She wants every emotion that everyone had around me that question. How's work today? Fine. And then my wife wants all the details. She wants

every emotion that everyone had around me that day. And I'm like, it was just fine. Like,

if I come on when I tell you it was horrible, then I'll go into more detail. But a good day is,

it's fine. Well, maybe see if these would make a difference if your wife asked you these questions

and treated you like a child.

She does.
