Andy and I were lucky over the years to meet him at the Willow Foundation London Football Awards. We're both judges on that, and George was a big supporter. always, Bob Wilson was always delighted that he was such a great supporter at a charity and he would

turn up every year and one year I got to sit next to him which was a great honour and a real

education and he physically struggled towards the end George but mentally he was really sharp

to the end and he was great to. Oh, he was, yeah, definitely.

And he was great to chat to,

and he kept in touch with a modern game,

and was a lot of fun.

what a lovely man he was.
