| 0:15.0 | What's up, everybody? |
| 0:16.1 | Welcome to another edition of the NFL fantasy football show. |
| 0:19.2 | It's me and your man, M.G. Marcus Grant, joined by Michael F. Florio and Lequan Jones. We don't have a word for Tuesday. Ooh, we got to hit the chat for that. Because I don't know what Tuesday would honestly. Yeah. Bird fight. Bird fight. Bird fight. That's what it is. Here it is, though. We are in Week 17. It is Championship Week across fantasy football for 99% of you. I know there's that weird 1% of you guys who play in Week 18. Leave. Leave the league. You're not playing three-dimensional chess. You're just making yourself unnecessarily difficult. That's all. That's all you're doing. You're not outsmart, you're not outsmarting anybody but you. Um, anyway, for the rest of you, we're going to help you out, try to win some fantasy championships. We are going to dig into the Christmas Day and Saturday games. We've also got some sleepers, some players to avoid. Plus, we'll have our bold predictions for week 16. Uh, how many championships are you guys in? Championship matchups are you in? |
| 1:12.7 | Four. Two. I went from four to two because of some injuries, but I would save my frustration for |
| 1:19.2 | later. All right. That's fine. I was in three semifinals. I made it through in one. I got trucked |
| 1:24.7 | by a couple of juggernauts the last couple weeks. |
| 1:29.3 | It happens, you know, so whatever. |
| 1:31.5 | But anyway, let's get to some news, as always. |
| 1:33.8 | We got our headlines to start off the show. |
| 1:41.4 | And some quarterback news out of Minnesota, J.J. McCarthy has a hairline fracture in his throwing hand. |
| 1:42.1 | He will not play on Christmas Day against the Detroit |
| 1:45.4 | Lions. We'll dive into what that means a little bit later on. But Max Brosmer is going to get |
| 1:51.1 | another start for Minnesota as nine rehabs. You wonder at this point, does he come back at |
| 1:57.8 | all for Week 18? I don't think it necessarily, Floreau makes sense to bring him back. Yeah, at this point, you would think they would shut him down. The one thing about this, though, is a must start your lines defense because in Brasmer's lone start, the Seahawks won for 30 fantasy. Like, if you get 30 from your defense, you're going to win a championship. You're pretty good if you get 30 from your defense coming up this week. So no J.J. McCarthy there. We'll talk about that a little bit later. Meanwhile, news out |
| 2:22.8 | of Pittsburgh, D.K. Metcalf has been suspended for two games after physically confronting a fan |
| 2:28.9 | in their game this past weekend. Look, we talked a little bit about it on Monday. |
| 2:35.1 | Lequan, I know you said you are not going the Calvin Austin route. |
| 2:39.3 | No, absolutely not. |
| 2:41.3 | I mean, does this potentially impact how you feel one way or another about Aaron Rogers this week? |
| 2:46.6 | I think Aaron Rogers having a Jalenborn and then having that kind of game. |
